Throught out the years since leaving Hahn Air Force Base in Germany (1965) I think back to those days and the good time that I enjoyed .  All the friends that I made, the fun that we had, the travels that we made around the country as well as the comadre that we enjoyed with all branches of the service stationed there.

With that in mind and having a lot of spare time on my hands (retired), I thought it might be cool to find a lot of pictures from Hahn and post them on a website so others that were stationed at Hahn might enjoy them.  This website will always be under construction as I find pictures and other information from that time as I post  pictures here for others to enjoy.

I was part of the 496th FIS (Air To Air Falcon Missiles) which means a lot of the 496th pictures that I start posting  will more than likely be highlighted. As time goes on I will be glad to post other pictures from that era.

I am not quite sure when this picture was taken but it does show the basic layout of Hahn AFB as I remember it.
I was a tecnician on the Falcon Air to Air missile which was carred on the F102 Fighters. The F102 was replaced in later years with another fighter jet.

Picture of F102 as they were stationed on the ready line for flight.
This is a picture of a F102 model with the bay doors open and the missiles lowered. However the missiles that I worked with were not that color.

One of the F102's in the hanger for maintennnce

This looks like Hahn AFB back in 1961 as I remember it.
