Click on link to left to access. When this site comes up you will see a layout of the USA or possibly the World. You will need to zoom into the area that you are interested in. The first time it will show "Precipitation:", however you can change it to whatevr you would like. At the bottom left corner of the screen you will see a date. Click on that date and a calendar will pop up. Using that calendar, click on the current date. Once you do that, then click on the X at the top of the calendar. Then at the bottom left of the page - click on "PLAY".. |

After you do that you will notice the various colors roll across the screen indicating where action is taking place. If this is the first time you are using this and Precipitation; is highlighted it will indicate the rain as it moves across the screen. If you hold your mouse over the city that you have located, it will indicate the amount of rainfall that it is prediciting. At the bottom of the screen notice different times that are indicated - the times will move as the picture changes which indicates exactly the time that is showing. Once you do settle on a DATE to start, the screen will run for 10 days indicating what the weather is predicited. You can select the different predicitions that you are interested in, such as SNOW COVER, HUMIDITY< WIND GUSTS, TEMPERATURE and various other settings you would like to look at. Keep in mind that these are predicitions and on what is expected to happen. Although for the time that I have been using this they are pretty close to what is happening. |
